The System Mechanic product would not install correctly, and would not even run without constant boot up error messages. The System Shield Antivirus and System Mechanic by IoIo is in my opinion the worse thing one could install or try and install on their computer. I paid for the Pro simply because I was so pleased with the product I felt I should help financially support the product. It is the best there is for reinvigorating your Windows computer and they even have a free version that is perfectly good for most people. Folks, if you have problems with your computer, go to. Iolo will also attempt to convince you to sign up for its costly premium technical support. The old system mechanic was an excellent utility, but apparently IOLO was bought out by a company who takes it upon itself to decide what products you should be using on your computer for protection. I used Revo-uninstaller to rid myself of Iolo and will stick with C-clean for cleaning up the junk. I was interested only in System Mechanic for its tuning and cleaning capabilities. I already use the best there is, Kaspersky with Malwarebytes as a backup. ![]() I purchased Iolo system mechanic only for its tune up capabilities, and it without my permission started downloading anti-malware and anti-virus.
